Energy monitoring

Energy monitoring initiative for a major industrial gelatine producer. This project involved a Siemens S7-1500 PLC paired with a TP-1200 HMI, along with remote I/O utilizing ET200sp and Modbus connectivity Additionally, we implemented a 7-day historical data window and an automated graphical interface for data visualization.

A18 Effluent pumping station

The project aimed to upgrade the current S7-300 PLC to an S7-1200, accompanied by an MTP-700 HMI. This upgrade involved the implementation of automated valves and priming functions, leveraging IO-Link technology to enhance the overall system and minimize maintenance efforts. Additionally, we installed smart server remote connectivity for efficient remote maintenance and operations.

Ignition SCADA system

The objective of the project was to upgrade the current WinCC SCADA system to the Ignition platform. This involved over 45 PLC connections, 6 client interfaces, and 30,000 tags. It was a large-scale that took place over several months to facilitate a seamless transition between the two systems.

Filtration

The project involved the installation of a new S7-1500 PLC, an ET200SP remote IO panel, and new instrumentation to oversee and manage a filtration process. A considerable amount of advanced data was utilized to calculate the product's mass flow and provide feedback to the SCADA system, which was fully automated for the process engineers.

A21 Effluent treatment plant

This project involved programming and commissioning a large-scale water effluent treatment plant with a total treatment flow of approximately 2300m³ per day. This encompassed an S7-1500 PLC, two HMI stations, SCADA integration, two remote I/O panels, eight I/O link masters, and eleven G120 Profinet VSDs ranging from 0.55kW to 15kW, along 49 instruments. Additionally, a smart server was utilized to control various areas of the and maintain process consistency.

Blending plant VSD upgrade

The project's objective was to design and install Variable Speed Drive (VSD) control panel and integrate into the existing control system. The VSDs were developed to lower electricity usage and enhance process performance through PID control. Additionally, the upgrade featured IO link technology for monitoring motor vibrations, automated valves, and a new automated filling sequence.
